Course Overview

Join us at The Nook in Perranporth, Cornwall, for a dynamic six-week journey into novel writing. Over six weekly sessions, you’ll be guided through the entire creative arc—from initial idea to structural mapping, writing key scenes, refining character arcs, and preparing your work for next steps. The course is ideal for writers with a novel in mind (whether just starting or in progress) who want structure, community and craft-focused support. Spaces are limited to a maximum of ten students to ensure personal time for all of you.

What You’ll Get

Six 2-hour weekly group sessions (in person) led by an experienced novelist/mentor – Luke Dimech BA - MA.
A clear roadmap for the novel-writing process: idea generation, structure/outlining, scene writing, character development, voice & tone, revision strategies.
Collaborative peer-support and feedback: shared mini-workshops, discussion, writing prompts and in-session writing time.
Worksheets/handouts for each week.
All the tools you'll need to get your story from an idea to a novel.

Wednesday 14th January 11 am till 1 pm

Anyone who's said 'I'd love to write a novel one day'.
People who benefit from group structure, accountability and working in a dedicated creative space.
Anyone based locally (or visiting Cornwall) who can attend six consecutive weeks in person at The Nook (Perranporth).
You don’t need to be a 'published' writer already—just motivated to create, ready to explore craft and willing to share work in progress.

Group size: Small, to ensure personalised attention and peer interaction.
Materials: All will be provided for you.
Cost: 200 Silver or upgrade to Gold to include a weekly One 2 One
