Course Overview
Join us at The Poly in Falmouth, Cornwall, for a dynamic six-week journey into novel writing. Over six weekly sessions, you’ll be guided through the entire creative arc—from initial idea to structural mapping, writing key scenes, refining character arcs, and preparing your work for next steps. The course is ideal for writers with a novel in mind (whether just starting or in progress) who want structure, community and craft-focused support. Spaces are limited to a maximum of ten students to ensure personal time for all of you.

Six 2-hour weekly group sessions (in person) led by an experienced novelist/mentor – Luke Dimech BA - MA.

A clear roadmap for the novel-writing process: idea generation, structure/outlining, scene writing, character development, voice & tone, revision strategies.

Collaborative peer-support and feedback: shared mini-workshops, discussion, writing prompts and in-session writing time.
